Membership
of the Society
All members
are entitled to vote on Society business. The Society's subscription year is
from 1st April to 31st March. New members joining during the subscription year
will normally receive any copies of the Society magazine issued between 1st
April and date of joining. If you are a UK Taxpayer it is very beneficial
to the Society if you Gift Aid
your subscription.
The annual
subscription is due on 1st April and the rates are as follows:

Members not
having renewed their subscription by 1st May will be deemed to have resigned
Payment by
cheque
All cheques
should be made payable to "Essex Society for Family History."
Overseas
membership
Remittances
can be by cheque (check) but must be in sterling payable at a UK bank, crossed
and in favour of the "Essex Society for Family History".
Special arrangements have been made for payments by cheque (check) from Australia, Canada, New Zealand

and if
appropriate, the Gift
Aid Declaration Form
and
send, together with the appropriate remittance, to the Membership Secretary:
