Help from other members of the Society with your computer problems

Members who are experiencing problems with their family history should first browse through the pages of GENUKI which is an acronym for Genealogy in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Here you will find many further links to a considerable amount of information and sources which are available to you on the Internet. All of these sources are designed to help you with your own family history. There are GENUKI pages particularly for information about Essex.

Help if you are visiting Essex. There are several Tourist Information Centres who are able to advise on where to stay and help find accommodation. 

Essex Record Office - The principal collection of records for the County of Essex is held by Essex Record Office and members should visit their web site for full details of the ways in which that Office can help with your research.
