ESSEX MONUMENTAL INSCRIPTIONS

For many years the volunteer workers of the Essex Society for Family History have been recording the Monumental Inscriptions in the churches, churchyards and burial grounds in the the county of Essex.   These were originally produced on microfiche but the fiche are now being replaced by the issue of the data on CD-ROM.

The Church Records list gives the up-to-date situation on each churchyard with which we are involved.

Index of MIs - On publication of the inscriptions the names contained within that churchyard are entered into the central MI Index and are then available for research. All the names can be found on Family History on Line FHOL
